Privacy Policy – Platformer2D

Platformer2D (the "Game") is a free, ad-supported mobile game made by Dan-Ionut Chis PFA, an independent developer ("I", "me"). This page explains what information is collected when you play the Game, why, and the choices you have.

Information stored on your device

Your game progress (coins, upgrades, unlocked characters) and settings (such as sound on/off) are saved only on your device. I do not receive this data. It is deleted when you uninstall the Game.

Information collected by third-party services

The Game uses the third-party services below. They may automatically collect information from your device, such as your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, device model, operating system version, language, country, and how you interact with the Game and with ads. I do not collect your name, email address, or contacts.

• AppLovin MAX – chooses and shows ads from the ad networks below, and measures ad revenue. AppLovin Privacy Policy

• Unity Gaming Services (Remote Config, Authentication, In-App Purchasing) – lets me adjust game settings without an update, using an anonymous player ID, and processes in-app purchases. Unity Privacy Policy
• GameAnalytics – anonymous gameplay statistics (for example how far players get in a level and which upgrades they buy) and ad revenue totals, which help me balance and improve the Game. GameAnalytics Privacy Policy

Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. I never receive your payment details.

How the information is used

• To show ads, which keep the Game free. Ads may be personalized to your interests only if you allow it (see below).
• To measure ad performance and revenue.
• To understand how the Game is played, fix problems, and improve it.
• To deliver in-app purchases, such as removing ads.

I do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and consent

• EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first start the Game you are asked whether you agree to personalized ads and related data processing. If you do not agree, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
• iOS: the Game asks for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Settings > Privacy (or Google) > Ads.
• You can stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the Game.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information about you, or to object to its processing. Because I do not store your data on my own servers, I will forward your request to the services listed above, or you can contact them directly using the links provided. Data retention and security

Third-party services keep data according to their own policies, linked above. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children's privacy

The Game is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact me and I will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
